Hi I am Maia tourist guide in Spanish and English with ten years of working experience, and five years as companion guide on the Balkans.
I work with groups and individual tours, as local guide for Skopje and my home town Veles, to share the experience of the history, cultural heritage, nature sites and local wine and gastronomy of the Vardar valley region, Ohrid and south western region, and all of Macedonia.
As art historian I specialize in tours of museums, archeology sites and religious tours of Christian churches and monasteries with medieval fresco an icon painting and woodcarving which are part of the artistic and spiritual traditions that shaped part of the culturtral mosaic of Macedonia.
