Short Biography
My name is Katerina Vasileska, and I am based in Ohrid, one of the most beautiful and historically significant destinations in the Balkans.
For more than 20 years, I have been working as a professional tour guide and tourism development expert, sharing the rich history, cultural heritage, traditions, and everyday life of Macedonia with visitors from around the world.
My experience goes far beyond traditional sightseeing. Having worked on more than 30 international projects focused on sustainable tourism, cultural heritage, and community development, I bring a broader perspective to every tour, connecting historical facts with local stories, traditions, and contemporary life.
I specialize in cultural and historical tours, UNESCO heritage interpretation, authentic rural experiences, local gastronomy, and tailor-made itineraries. I guide in English, Italian, Serbian, Bulgarian, and Macedonian, welcoming individuals, families, and groups of all sizes.
I believe that the best way to discover a destination is not simply to visit its monuments, but to understand its people, history, culture, and way of life.
My goal is to make every tour informative, engaging, and personal, helping visitors experience Macedonia through the eyes of someone who knows and loves the region.
