My name is Maria Stojanovska, and I am a licensed tour guide based in Skopje. My interest in tourism began during my university years, when I started working as a guide while studying Tourism at the Institute of Geography, University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje. I officially obtained my tour guide licence in 2020 and have continued developing my professional career in the tourism industry ever since.
Alongside my education in tourism, I also hold a degree in Marketing, which has given me an additional perspective on the tourism industry and the way travellers discover and experience different destinations.
I speak English, Spanish and German, and offer guided tours throughout Macedonia, introducing visitors to its cities, historical sites, cultural heritage and beautiful landscapes.
I particularly enjoy meeting people from different parts of the world and sharing the history, traditions and everyday life of my country with them. I adapt my tours to the interests of each traveller, whether they are travelling individually, with family or as part of a larger group. My goal is to make every visit an enjoyable and interesting experience and a wonderful opportunity to discover Macedonia in a more personal way.
